Kaitlin and Doug . . . such a wonderful couple full of so much love and happiness! I made a choice this late fall/winter to take as few sessions as possible. Why is that? Because I am expecting a new baby in just a couple of weeks! I didn't want to work up until the end, and I didn't want to be overwhelmed in the middle of the holiday crazy-ness with work as well as baby preparations. These two came along after I'd already made the cut-off, but there was no way I wanted to pass up shooting their wedding! So they were the exception, and what a lovely exception they are!

At one point, I asked Doug what he likes most about Kaitlin. He said that, as positive of an attitude that he has, she has an even more positive one! I think that statement in and of itself tells you so much about this couple, and it really sums up how much of a joy they are to work with!

I am so glad they chose Klondike Park for the location. Its usual breathtaking scenery was only even more beautiful in the soft, December evening light.

And, can I just say, holy cannoli! Talk about a sparkly, beautiful ring.

Kelsey was a trooper! You wouldn't know it looking at these photos, but it was quite chilly! She looked adorable, though, so I'd say it was worth it!

We saved the fun for the end! Since it is almost Christmas, we pulled out a string of lights for them to get wrapped up in. And lots of glitter! :)
